A dental crown restores the normal shape, size and function of a tooth whose structure has suffered significant loss and cannot be restored by other means (by aesthetic obturation or through inlay/onlay/overlay). Dental bridges
A dental bridge is used to restore or replace two or more teeth on the arch. Basically, a deck is made up of two or more dental crowns which are fixed on the natural teeth and restore their shape, size and functions (masticatory, phonetic, but also aesthetic). Moreover, with the help of a bridge we can gain a number of advantages, such as stabilizing, in some cases, mobile teeth due to periodontal disease or correcting the unfavorable shape of the dental arch. Bone additionDental implants bring major improvements in the patient's quality of life.To benefit from this treatment, however, we must have enough healthy bone to ensure their support.In patients with severe periodontal disease, with facial trauma or with dental extractions performed a long time ago, we will often find a reduced amount of bone.This means that before taking steps to replace missing teeth, the jaw must first be able to support them.This is achieved through bone augmentation (or bone addition) procedures.
Sinus lift
The maxillary sinuses can be described as two pyramidal cavities, located inside the jawbone, on either side of the nose.They play an important role in breathing. When we need implants in the upper jaw, the positioning of these cavities in combination with bone loss may prevent their safe insertion.A sinus lift it translates into raising the floor of the sinus cavity enough to make room for the bone graft material and therefore the implant. How to prepare for a sinus lift? First of all, our surgeons will analyze everything both clinically and with the help of a panoramic RX and a scan CBCT (computed tomography). The latter will provide the 3D image of the operation site and is one of the best methods for diagnosis and planning, as it will allow us to accurately measure how much healthy bone we have and, most importantly, the exact position and size of the sinuses. Structural anatomy along with local health will dictate one of the following approaches:
Internal sinus lift
This approach can be done when access to the sinus cavity is available through an empty tooth socket, i.e. where the tooth has recently been lost or extracted.Here the bone will be partially drilled while the remaining base of the drill hole is pushed towards the sinus cavity. This will create the depth necessary to insert an implant, and the material of bone graft will be added to this space to provide the necessary support. In most cases, the placement of the implant can be done immediately, in the same session.
Lateral sinus lift
This type of sinus lift treatment uses a lateral approach, that is, a small, oval window is created in the bone through which access to the sinus cavity is obtained.After one lateral sinus lift, the meeting for implant placement can be scheduled sometime between 4 and 6 months later. The healing process depends on many factors, including the size of the bone graft and the general health of the patient. So, the time frame will be chosen for each, taking into account all aspects.

Dental decay
Dental caries is the most common oral disease. Although its occurrence is determined by a number of factors, it can be said that frequently consumed sweet foods and the lack of correct dental hygiene favor the accumulation of bacterial plaque on the surface of the teeth. This will turn the sugar into acid, causing irreversible damage to the tooth structure. Enamel is the strongest tissue in the human body, but the tooth also has its weak points, susceptible to decay.
