Minimally invasive tooth preparation involves grinding 0.2-0.5 mm of the tooth surface in order to create the necessary space for the harmonious fitting of ceramic veneers. The cases in which it is desired to close the spaces between the teeth are often solved without grinding, i.e. no-prep. Dental ceramics give the veneers the translucency of a natural tooth, but have the advantage of not changing color over time. Fast and Fixed Baia Mare
The procedure is intended for patients who are either denture wearers or have remaining teeth with increased mobility. Fast&Fixed is performed in a single session that generally lasts a maximum of 2 hours, followed by the appointment for the fixation of the temporary work. After analyzing the radiological investigations and the clinical consultation, the number of implants needed to support the provisional and then the definitive work is determined. Quality and long-lasting anesthesia is our ally in the realization of this intervention, which involves dental extractions, veneers, application of 4 or 6 implants and prosthetic posts. At the end of the procedure, an impression is taken and the provisional work is inserted the following day.
The advantage of Fast&Fixed is that functionality and esthetics are restored immediately, with fewer implants than dental units that need to be replaced.
This technique has been designed to avoid bone reconstruction in third-age patients. It inserts angled implants to avoid anatomical structures, implants on which a number of twelve teeth are usually placed. It is the ideal treatment option for the elderly patient with reduced masticatory forces. However, for a second-age patient, a maxillary or mandibular work resting on 4 dental implants will lead in the long term to mechanical complications (screw, drill, implant fractures) or to increased resorption with loss of the implants.
